ETTR 2023 : 6th One-Week National Workshop on Emerging Tools and Technologies in Research (ETTR-2024) Held on 4th to 9th November 2023, Organized by Department of Information Technology, Tripura University. Dr. Jayanta Pal & Dr. Alak Roy is the Co-ordinator of this Program.

OBJECTIVE: Research is the most important part of Academic Institutes. It includes the knowledge of recent trends as well as the tools or techniques to be used for analysis or simulations. The primary objective of this series of workshops will be to introduce various recent tools and technologies specially used in the field of present day research. The workshop will be conducted in online mode.

OUTCOME: The participants will be introduced with the emerging tools and technologies related to their field of research.

ELIGIBILITY: The targeted participants would be PG and PhD Students as well as interested faculty members from the University, affiliated colleges and other educational institutions.

MODE OF WORKSHOP: Organized in In-person and Online (Hybrid Mode)

2.            ChatGPT (AI-powered language model developed by OpenAI, capable of generating human-like text based on context and past conversations)

3.            Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) (Tool for data management, advanced analytics, multivariate analysis, business intelligence, and criminal investigation)

4.            Octave (Powerful mathematics-oriented syntax with built-in 2D/3D plotting and visualization tools) 

5.            Cyber Security Tools 

6.            Programming in Python 

7.            AI integrated Tools for Office Package

8.            Reference Manager Tool 

9.            Data Analysis Tools 

10.        Start-Up Schemes etc.
